Assisted Living Placement in Tucson
Finding the right assisted living community for your loved one is a big decision, and our goal is to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. We take the time to get to know you and your family so we can recommend the options that genuinely fit your loved one's needs, preferences, and lifestyle, not just the ones with an open bed. In Tucson that means knowing the difference between a 120-apartment community and a ten-resident care home on a quiet street, and knowing which one your mother would actually be happy in. Our advisors walk the tours with you, ask the questions you don't know to ask, and stay with you after the move.

Questions about assisted living placement
How do I know if assisted living is the right level of care?
We help assess your loved one's needs and preferences to determine whether assisted living is the best option. Generally it fits someone who needs help with bathing, dressing, medications and meals, but does not need round-the-clock skilled nursing. If you are unsure, our two-minute care check-in is a good place to start, and a 15-minute call with an advisor will make it clear.
What does your placement service cost my family?
Nothing. Placita is paid by the care community when a placement is made, the same way a tenant does not pay a leasing agent. You get an advisor's time, expertise, and tours at no charge, and we will tell you honestly when a community is not right even though it would pay us.
How does the placement process work?
We start with a detailed consultation to understand your needs. Then we research and recommend the best options, arrange visits, and provide ongoing support once your loved one has moved in.
Can I visit the communities before deciding?
Yes, and we strongly encourage it. We arrange the tours and provide the information you need to make an informed choice. An advisor comes with you.
What if the placement doesn't work out?
Your loved one's happiness is our priority. If they are not satisfied, we will work with you to find a better option. This is why we stay in touch after move-in rather than disappearing once the paperwork is signed.
How quickly can you help if we're being discharged from the hospital?
Same day, often within hours. Hospital discharges are a large share of what we do. Call at any hour and a live person picks up. During the day you will usually reach an advisor directly, and after hours we take your information and someone calls you back first thing in the morning. Call (520) 771-5919.
